The Precision Recruitment International is hiring a Deputy Head of Mission, for Maputo.
Duties
- Contribute to the annual plan, budget and policy frameworks to ensure alignment with strategies and policies;
- Analyse the political, humanitarian and medical situation in the country and region;
- Identify potential fields of intervention and determine response strategies;
- Coordinate emergency response procedures with the medical coordinator;
- Support the head of mission in the implementation of Human Resources policies (promote safe working conditions and reduction of health and safety risks);
- Ensure and coordinate the implementation of the security framework.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Human Resource Management;
- 2+ years of previous work experience in humanitarian assistance in developing countries;
- Exceptional communication skills (fluent in English and Portuguese);
- Strong interpersonal skills.
