Description
Role purpose: Responsible for outbound or inbound marketing activities by planning, leading, directing the Brand and Communication initiatives with the aim of growing Vodacom Business market share, brand equity and leverage interactions with the local Enterprise market
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Ensure the Brand Management from an enterprise perspective, with specific KPI’s: Market share, Brand Awareness, Perceptions, Preference, Equity, and SOV.
• Ensure that Public relations and press releases are issued to the media when applicable;
• Responsible for artwork and get the final approval for branding and marketing of Vodacom shops and Vodacom POS material;
• Work with the advertising agency to develop merchandising, point of sale, promotions, and advertising campaigns;
• Understand the target market and ensure the marketing effort is directed towards the market segment;
Core competencies, knowledge and experience
• Experience in Marketing / Branding and working with advertising agencies is important;
• Relationship management and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate activities among different areas
• Must speak & write good English and Portuguese;
• Computer literacy is essential;
Must have technical / professional qualifications
• Relevant Marketing degree or qualification is essential
• Minimum 3 years to 5 years’ professional experience
• Experience in and Knowledge of Telecoms industry (preferred).
• Experience in implementing advertising campaigns, agency briefs, media planning and market research.
