Job Description:
The hiring of this position will be dependent on the Grant Approval.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare payments, advances and checking the necessary justifications for the staff involved, following the correct procedures of the organization
- Prepare purchase orders, purchase orders and quotations for the projects’ material purchases, following the correct procedures from the procurement department and the donor
- Procure (procurement process) material needed for the personnel involved in this period, following the correct procedures of the Organization
- Assist staff, suppliers, partners and other people, verifying their needs in order to guide them and / or direct them to the people and / authorities
- Keep files and other documents organized and / or updated classified by subject, alphabetical order, or classify them by other system to allow control of them
- Prepare procedures for the logistical requests (training, accommodation, meals, training material, etc) for staff following the correct procedures of the organization
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Formal course in accounting or a degree in business administration
- Minimum of 3 years of administration and accounting work experience.
- Experience working in purchasing/procurement and logistics is an advantage
- Computer skills
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to establish good rapport with teams from different cultures
- Be a Christian and willing to participate actively in devotion
