Following its strategic direction, Good Neighbors Mozambique (GNMOZ) works in partnership with the government and other partners to ensure that the Health of Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Cabo Delgado is protected.
Good Neighbors Mozambique has secured funds in partnership with its counterpart Good Neighbors Japan through Japan Platform JPF for a project called: Northern Mozambique humanitarian crisis response, by improving the deteriorating water sanitation environment through the construction of water sanitation facilities and the distribution of sanitary supplies.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:Monitoring & Evaluation
Principal Location: Cabo Delgado
Main Duties & Responsibilities (PO)
- Make evaluation reports
- Monitor the progress of Component 1, 2 and 3 activities
- Implementation of the Hygiene Promotion Campaign in cooperation with the Project Office
- Develop and implement monitoring plans to ensure that all target populations use properly distributed hygiene items
- Develop indicators for project evaluation assessments
- Identify remaining problems and needs for the development of the next phase of the project and produce a complete report
- Conduct beneficiary interviews
- Conduct household PAC surveys and beneficiary interviews after activation of Component 2 and 3 Hygiene Promotion Campaign Implementation
- Assist the Project Supervisor (PS) in the development of donor reports, providing inputs
To qualify you need
- Degree in Social Sciences, Health Statistics or related areas
- Ability to perform complex tasks and work independently
- Ability to write reports in English and document relevant information
Experience required:
- Experience in M&A in community projects Good computer skills from the user’s perspective
- At least 2 years’ experience with an NGO
- Experience working in emergency programs.
LANGUAGES Required: Fluency in English, Portuguese (both spoken and written)
