Key Responsibilities:
Transport safely the project staff complying with all traffic laws and with the regulations of the organization avoiding unnecessary risks.
Transport project documents, assets and supplies as requested from the provincial office to the districts and the reverse.
Ensure proper vehicle maintenance, with a daily inspection of water levels and oil, air pressure in tires, lighting and signaling devices, etc. Ensure that vehicle is cleaned inside and outside on a regular basis. Maintain (and protect against loss) all equipment received with the vehicle and ensure that vehicle is parked in a safe manner in accordance with the safety regulations of the Organization.
Report any abnormality, damage or accident to the program manager or his substitute in case of their absence, following the rules and procedures of the WV.
Fill all information needed in the Log book of the car every day when using the car.
Evaluate the fuel expenses according to the distance traveled and deliver a monthly report to the supervisor.
Required Professional Experience
- Proven experience in an equivalent position, including safe driving (including in rural areas with sub optimal road conditions) and maintenance of vehicle, and control of fuel use
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Grade 12 completed
- Valid professional driving license

- Good communication skills in Portuguese and local languages
- Christian maturity, demonstrate and encourage the values of World Vision
