- Field Supervisor –Utilities
Role:
Leading all FLNG operation activities at site, outside the CCR, supervising the field Operators of Utilities and Inlet Facilities related process areas. To operate the facility safely and efficiently as per the approved Operating procedures and Shift Superintendent instructions
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise all site activities to start up process units and equipment as per start up procedures relevant to Black/Cold/Hot start-up.
- Supervise field operators data logging and operation of local control panels, equipment & instruments.
- Supervise isolation, inerting and defrosting for equipment at site.
- Preparation and Coordinate for Bunkering and De-bunkering operation at Utilities systems.
- Review and follow up all permit to work issued and supervise equipment preparation for maintenance.
- Review of permit to work associated documents and Job safety analysis. Follow up for safe jobs execution as per SIMOPS assessment.
- Preparation, review and verification for Supporting and Preparation Certificates of Permit to work system.
- Preparation of Isolation plans along with follow up, supervision and verification for safe handover of plant equipment under permit to work system.
- Report any faults or defects at site, and take necessary action to correct any abnormal situation to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production during emergency situations.
- Supervise all site activities to Shutdown process and equipment safely as per shutdown procedures when required.
- Coordinate continuously with CCR supervisor to handle all plant operating activities.
- Ensure effective consumption of chemicals.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals during plant operations including transfer, refill, injection and disposal.
- Participate in operating procedures continuous improvement and relevant improvement initiatives by providing the inputs necessary to update them in frequent basis.
- Ensure compliance of Operations and HSE Management systems at site, follow up of routine operational audits, record keeping of relevant checklists / register.
- Ensure maintenance activities support at site by ensuring equipment /process units shutting down and preparing them for maintenance intervention in cooperation with CCR Supervisor.
- Support turnaround activities by ensuring shutting down the facility safely, preparing the process and equipment for maintenance/inspection activities, carrying out the tests mandated by the turnaround plan, preparing the process and equipment for restart and safely restart the facility after
the turnaround completion. - Ensure proper shift hand over and reporting to the next shift.
- Support operations training program by coaching field operators.
- Participate in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) as per defined role and responsibility.
- Ensure good housekeeping at site during routine operations and maintenance.
- Ensure good condition of Production tools and equipment during usage by team and maintaining adequate storage. Follow up for stock replenishment and required testing/inspection.
- Participation in Objective setting and performance evaluation of subordinates.
- Promote safety culture and ensure compliance of HSE related objectives and KPIs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc of Engineering or Science: Minimum 9 years of experience, out of them 4 years in LNG industry/ Inlet Facilities.
- High Technical School: Minimum 13 years of experience, out of them 6 years in LNG industry/Inlet Facilities.
- Offshore Certifications.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, LNG operation and Utilities.
- Familiarity with the following software platforms: CMMS, PIMS, LIMS, OTS, MS office.
- Strong knowledge of firefighting, emergency response plans and rescue plans.
- Solid knowledge of Permit to Work system.
- Strong knowledge of HSE Golden rules.
- Fluent English language: spoken and written.
