Material Management Supervisor
Role:
- Supervision for the day to day of the Operations activities, control to the activities of all off/on load on the yard, warehouse.
- Responsible for inventory tracking system and bin location consistency, keep monitor of SAP data input. Planning with Stock Control Supervisor the yearly and quarterly materials inventory.
- Identify and minimize discrepancy of materials. Provide the list of slow moving items or surplus on quarterly basis. Provide internal audit on materials management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinations of daily activities at the base, supervise the main logistics contractors.
- Contributing of all activities with respect to warehouse, and yard operations.
- Cooperating in determining specification of requirement for new equipment as required.
- Ensuring that all HSE&Q requirements related to materials handling and storage are fully understood and met.
- To ensure that all lifting and slinging equipment for handling has valid certification.
- Maintaining close liaison with other operations on the base.
- Planning in agreement with Stock Control Supervisor the yearly, quarterly, and routine inventory on materials management.
- Identify and minimize the discrepancies.
- Provide the list of slow moving items, identify the surplus and required the necessary authorization for the final disposal.
- Control that all documentation issues are in compliance with the company policy and procedures.
- Check that all materials stored is identified and easy available, the bin locations are consistent with the materials stored.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University Diploma in a relevant field;
- The job holder must have experience in Materials management and Logistics & Operations activity, with a minimum of 5 years working on Oil & Gas Industry.
- Must also have competence on lifting operations and hazardous good transportation storage.
- Experience in working with teams from different oil companies is also desirable.

Management Competencies:
- Knowledge of Material handling and Logistics activity.
- Ability to operate independently.
- HSE knowledge relevant to materials storage, movement and handling.
- English in written and spoken.
- Ability to use PC standard program (Word, Excel) and ability to use SAP
- Communications and interpersonal skills
- Produce written reports
- Maintain filling system
