Job Posting: Turnaround Coordinator

Role:

  • Turnaround planning and coordination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Selects and Leads members of turnaround team from different disciplines;
  • Sets out the team’s targets for turnaround preparation;
  • Chairs all preparation team meetings;
  • Develop and update the turnaround plan comprising of repairing, inspection, and start-up activities;
  • Coordinate with discipline superintendents to obtain task execution steps/ details & associated durations;
  • Circulate the updated plan to all concerned stakeholders;
  • Resolves operational and planning issues with FLNG team;
  • Prepare list of all new shutdown jobs requiring risk assessment, in coordination with OPS and ensure risk assessments of all identified jobs are carried out;
  • Report the preparation progress and readiness of the coming turnaround to the Asset Integrity and maintenance managers in regular basis;
  • Ensure that work instruction is in place & followed for authorization & control over work, which is identified to be necessarily performed in Shutdown, after the Shutdown work list has been frozen;
  • Review and optimizes the turnaround plan and schedule;
  • Collates all documentation for task packages;
  • Produces, reviews, and follow up material and equipment requirement sheets;
  • Liaises with logistics team regarding receiving on site material, materials, consumables, and proprietary items as well as tools and portable equipment;
  • Review lifting plans with logistic team and validate with all stakeholders;
  • Reporting and monitoring the turnaround execution in daily basis and issue all required reports;
  • Produce Close out report and submit to the Asset Integrity Manager;
  • Hold a daily turnaround progress meeting during turnaround to review safety performance, track progress against the plan, resolve any unforeseen issues and develop interface on the work fronts;
  • Checking critical path activities and its progression;
  • Creating and optimizing the Turnaround schedule and submit to Turnaround manager;
  • Prepare work instruction for authorization and control over work required to be performed during shutdown, after the shutdown work list has been frozen;
  • Form a Shutdown Appraisal Task Force and ensure that Appraisal Report is prepared including achievements & improvement actions;
  • Develop and update lessons learned sheet after turnaround close out;
  • Responsible for review and updating Turnaround procedures and continue improvement process;
  • Develop consolidated plan for Shutdown vendors, Contractor personnel & equipment mobilization & demobilization and keep close liaison for compliance;
  • Regularly update the previous Shutdown Appraisal Report recommendations to ensure the completion of all highlighted actions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas with at least 5 years in Turnaround coordination;
  • Maintenance planning;
  • Turnaround coordination;
  • Project management.

Competencies:

  • CMMS management;
  • Maintenance Operations budget, procedures and KPI’s;
  • Proactive and Corrective Maintenance Practices;
  • Turnaround Management and Coordination;
  • Materials Management and Procurement;
  • Project Management;
  • Microsoft Office applications;
  • Primavera or any project management software;
  • Fluent knowledge of English.
